What can I do for sore arms?

I had my first onseason swim practice yesterday and I'm super sore. what should I do to help? It hurts especially in the pool but we do dryland and stretching for 30 minutes before we get in the pool.

been there done that. like friggen noodles right? best thing for them is a hot bath, and let your arms float. try to wear long sleeves to keep your muscles heated up.

Take an Epsom Salt bath. You can find it at drug stores, Walmart, whatever. (Hope that's how you spell it)

Rest them up on some pillows because the blood flow is giving you that throbbing feeling! :)

Keep stretching!! The pain is from lactic acid in the muscle. Keep on stretching to move the lactic acid out.

Whenever you are sore rather it's from exercise or not, NEVER take a warm bath or shower. Ice it and/or take a cold shower. (That's why prof. Athletes ice their injuries or sores and take ice baths after a game or a practice and not a hot shower or bath).
