Why did the NAACP Image awards honored Kerry Washington?
What I would like to know is, why did they do that? Okay, let me explain. The NAACP Image awards had honored Kerry for being the first African American Woman for having a TV drama show for 40 years now, since Diahann Carroll had one. Now here's this. Jada Pickett-Smith had a TV drama show of her own. And it was called Hawthorne. It was on TNT. Years ago, Vivica A. Foxx had her own TV show called, City of Angels. It had Blair Underwood in it. I don't know what network was it on. But, the show didn't last that long. Now I am wondering, why did they honored Kerry for being the first African American Woman for having a TV drama show, since 40 years, and both Jada and Vivica had their own shows way before Kerry did? Can someone explain that to me? Because that doesn't make any sense to me at all.
