Do you think the name Tantric is ugly?

Is the boy name Tantric ugly? Im not having a baby. I just heard the name and was courious what the public thought of it. Im kinda half way on it. Its unique but maybe too much?

I don't think it's ugly, and it would definitely be unique. However, even though it's more a religious/ritual type of meditation, it also has sexual connotations. As a child, could you imagine going through school with that sort of baggage?

@Sharah - he might get a few extra dates with the ladies as a teen, but as a child and then later as an adult, when he's trying to get prospective employers to take him seriously, he's going to have a hard time with that name.

Don't get me wrong, I think having a unique name is awesome, but still a good idea to choose very carefully.

@Dodgy - (gonna take long time for me to get used to calling you that XD) Yeah, unless he was going into a particular career field, definitely not something I would want to be named.

My thoughts exactly. I just didnt want to be rude to the lady naming her baby that. It was her choice.

Please don't give a child that name. Let your child become a unique person, don't try to inflict " uniqueness" on him with a name like that.
