What am I supposed to do about rug burn from situps? It's ridiculously unpreventable.

.Situps and running are the only exercise that makes you lose weight. It's a dirty lie that anything else works to lose weight but running and situps. Everything else burns off 10 calories. Running and situps burn off thousands of calories. Pay no attention to anyone who says otherwise. I speak from experience because I've tried every other exercise and they don't do squat. What am I supposed to do to prevent the chafing short of steel plated underwear? I cut down the amount of situps I do by 2/3 but I still have to do 1000 or it doesn't work. It's not even enough to do 500. And I use the Rubberlast exercise mat which is the best one.

Maybe if you slowed down and concentrated on the muscle getting the full range workout.. you could do fewer sits ups without the burns on your azz.. maximize the workout

That's planned exercise where you have to do it a certain way, counterintutively. Totally unacceptable.

Don't do the sit-ups on a rug. That should fix your problem.
