Friends or more than friends?

I have been talking to this friend and we were like in that point where you are like in between friends and couple. Well the other day i felt like he was going to ask me out and i got nervous and scared so i told him that we should stay friends. Now i am regretting telling him that because i do like him and he has not answered any of my text. What should I do, please help? Am i an idiot for what i did? Oh his name is Connor.

No your not an idiot, you got nervous. It happens honestly I don't think you should ask him out because he might feel like he has to say yes because he doesnt want to hurt your feelings or because you said that you guys should stay friends so he might've lossed a tad but of feelings for you I'm not trying to make you feel bad but guys are unpredictable :/ hope this helped

No, you are not an idiot, I think you should act interested in him so he will hopefully take a hint and ask you out.
