Where should I look for my stolen car in San fernando valley?

My 93 accord was taken from balboa blvd and Sherman way more than a week ago. Where in the valley do they usually turn up? I don't expect to find it operable, but sentimental vendetta is driving me to find it personally

You have a better chance of finding the car when you involve the police. Inform the police of the loss and they should take proper action to retrieve the car. In the meantime, you can drive around the neighborhood, popular hotels and airport parking lots to try and find it.

I did file a police report a few hours after it was stolen, I've been trying to find trends for where stolen vehicles are recovered. I just want to map my efforts. I had no idea that car was such a target

Since the car has no value to thieves, it was probably just taken by kids for a joyride. It will probably get deserted on the side of the road somewhere when they run out of gas.

That would be ideal.. I'm prepared for the worst, based on the time it's been missing, and the info I've gathered about this model in SFV. Either way, I just need some closure. It just means a lot that I recover any piece of it. Long story

Hi. LauraAT has some good ideas. I would also get the yp & look up all the impound lots on or near that intersection. Look up the tow companies as well. You can probably do it on the internet too! In your search engine toolbar, type something like: police impounds, San Fernando valley. Towing services, San Fernando valley. Also, try AAA. See who they suggest or who they use. I wish you the best of luck. What a drag. I'm sorry and I hope you find it soon. Good Luck!

Hondas are often parted out. Look for a new car.

Start looking in the impound lots. Stolen cars can sit there for months before they contact the owner. Check all reported car fires. If it was a joy ride vehicle they sometimes "catch" on fire. I doubt a 93 Honda would be stolen for a chop shop. More like a specific individual. Also check with the police if it was towed they are supposed to be inform.
