Do I have rights if I purchased a car from a repair paint shop

Some states have laws dealing with vehicle purchases. You'd have to consult an attorney. Mainly they hold the seller responsible to take the vehicle back and return the purchase price. The time frame for the sellers responsibility is very short.

I believe you have the rights. However, you need to make sure that you have all the necessary car documents and that the ownership is also changed and your full names written there.

If you bought a car as is You have no warranty or guarantee to repair it Unless the owner is a wonderful person and will do it for you.
