Jesus is going to BE the rapture. It is he who will come and lift all believers past, present and future up with Him to heaven. The main point of dissention among believees is whether that will occure pre, mid or post tribulation. - "For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words." 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 - "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also." John 14:3 - "For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first." 1 Thessalonians 4:16 - "Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord." 1 Thessalonians 4:17
I'll try to answer the best way I can. I don't quite know what you mean by rapture but I'll try to give you my take on it. As you know Jesus already paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we may live. He came to preach the gospel of the coming of the kingdom of god. He died and now we are left to keep the gospel going. Christ will come again but not to sacrifice himself again but to judge and destroy those who didn't do god's will
You shouldn't take the bible as a history book. It contains anectotal stories to explain somewhat difficult concepts in a simpler way. It was written by people, not God, and was meant to relay messages and instructions on living a better life alongside your fellow man. Don't be blinded by religion. Read the bible, and believe in your faith, but your ultimate actions are a product of free will and should also include free "thinking." Always listen to both sides of every story but make the decision on your own. Your sense of right and wrong should guide you in the correct path. And remember, Jesus threw out the money-lenders. Real religion comes from within and doesn't "cost" money. If they ask for your money, be suspicious of their motives.
There are two separate events. The word rapture is not found in the bible, but the meaning of rapture is. What will take place is this. Just before the anti-christ is revealed Jesus will come for those who are Born Again Christians that are doing what God has told them to be doing. Which is being obedient to the Will Of The Father. Jesus will come a snatch them from the earth to meet Him in the air. Next comes the 7 year tribulation known as the Warth of God or as the Jewish people say it a time of Jacob's Trouble. During this time the whole world will be corrupt as in the days of Noah. After the 7 years Jesus will appear again which is known as His Second Coming This time He will actually set foot on earth and be with His Saints ( us ) and declare war on the devil ( The anti-christ ) then comes the 1000 year reign.
Those who believe in this "rapture" do not understand scripture. -------//--- First the wicked are bound with Satan, to be burned LATER. Then after the Tribulation, the elect are taken up with Christ. --------------------
Matthew 13:30 KJV Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. -------- Matt 24:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken and the other left . 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken , and the other left . 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. ------------- Matt 24:29 29 Immediately after (AFTER) the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened , and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken : 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn , and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect (HIS ELECT ARE THOSE WHO WORSHIP HIM) from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other .
Both. He will come before and take the church to heaven during the seven year tribulation. Only his people will hear His voice.Since we (church) are not subject to Gods wrath, we won't be near it. Only the church (from day of pentecost to rapture) will go the the rewards seat of Christ during this time. The dead from the other dispensations "will be raised in their own time." The rest of the people will have to live through the wrath of God. "he that endures til the end will be saved" and enter the millenial reign. Then, after the tribulation, the church that He "gathers from one end of heaven to the other" will return with Him to rule and reign with Him. When He returns, "all eyes will see Him and mourn"

No, there is no rapture. The rapture wasn't made up until the 1850's when some man in England named John Darby first made it up. But, Muslims do believe in the end time and the second coming of Jesus Christ.
The rapture is not a biblical term. It would be better to search and read about the end times and last day. If you put what Daniel prophesied and what revelations shows with all of the following phrases you will have all the information you need: The last day; In that day; On that day; End will come; Last day(s); Day; sign that they are about to take place;
