How long does it take subcutaneous tissue to reattach after a surgery?

Particularly in the chest. After a chest surgery, the chest is still in a process of healing and formation. How long does it take until the subcutaneous tissues are in their ultimate settled position?

Report as

The subcutaneous tissue normally takes 48 hours to reattach after surgery. However, the duration might differ depending on the type of surgery. You can find more information from the doctor responsible for the procedure.

I didn't have surgery on the chest, but my doctor told me go really easy for 3 weeks, and just don't do anything strenuous for 6. So I'll say it takes 6 weeks to heal and recreate a strong bond.
