Is it safe to work on an offshore Oil Rig in Nigeria

Is it safe this day and age to work on an offshore Drilling Rig off the coast of Nigeria and is it safe to travel in and out of Nigeria

It is safe to travel in and out of Nigeria. However, according to the United States Department of State Bureau of Consular affairs, citizens are encouraged to do so under the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program. every county has its own problem which is mainly due to unemployment -once you have decided to relocate to Nigeria stay with your colleagues initially not to venture out alone after sun set and be positive in your approach and as regards working in an oil rig there it is same every where -good luck
