What is the rarest blood type in the world?

I was told I have a rare blood type (AB negative) but I don't know if it's really rare. is it?

Report as

AB negative makes up 0.6% of the population. The good thing is that you can get transfusions of any bloodtype as long as it is Rh negative.

I don't know why, but that makes me feel like I'm a unicorn or something. Hard to find and get things from xD

Yes, that is a rare blood type. By far the most common is O+.

Yours is rarer than mine. I am AB+ and I am in the very lucky group. I am a universal acceptor. I can get any blood type regardless of the Rh factor.
