What do you think?

My best friend and I are sometimes mistaken as a bi couple. Both of us are straight. I guess it's because we never see each other so when we do we hug a lot and I guess it doesn't help that I hold people's hands when I'm taking them somewhere.............Anyway, my friend gets bullied by people who think she's bi even though she's not. What do you think I should do about this? lol

Wear a t-shirt that says "she's my best friend not my girlfriend" that's what I do when I go out with my sister

hurmp....i know its weird teling adults aboout it but in this situation it may help ..i dont compleatly know how to help you ..at my school we have this thing called the gay strieght society so no one really gets bullied about this sort of thing..what you can do is try finding her a guy friend dude thing or one for yourself and then people might start thinking that you guys really arnt or just get to the point with these people say you had enough of this and say that youu guys arnt and shut up and goo away..something like that.

I think people are STUPID and brain dead to not even notice how strong your two's friendship is with each other instead of being what they all think girlfriends and just tell them that you two are just best friends and also don't let them get to you on saying ridiculous mean things like that too....

I think you should stand up for her and say that you guys are just serious best friends and both of you guys are straight.... second of all try to break the habit of holding peoples hands when you go somewhere with them....If this doesnt help the issue then find a creative way to get the bullies to back off.... Like maybe get a guy friend to pretend to be your boyfriend or something.... Hope I helped If I didn't comment me back... :P

You should stand up for your friend, and try to get people to spread the truth about you two, instead of the rumors. Less hand holding and less hugging may help.

People should keep their opinions to themselves. You seem like an individual that would make a very good friend. Don't just take my word for it, let the facts prove it. Or just ask Tic_tac.

Tell them to stop or the will be consequences. Also, tell them that she's not gay/lezbo at all! Good luck. You're a good friend! :)
