Matthew 7:1-2 records Jesus teaching, "Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you." It is interesting to note that following Jesus' command is a warning; we will be judged in the same way we judge others. Often when we think of those who are "judgmental," we think of hypocritical or self-righteous people. When we are eager to judge others, it is usually because we are eager to boost our own self-concept. Judgmental people generally do not live up to their own standards of morality. To assuage their own sense of failure or guilt, they begin comparing themselves with others, usually condemning the other in an attempt to make themselves feel acceptable. . Jesus elaborated on this when He said, "Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,'m' when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye" (Matthew 7:3-5). When we are focused on the shortcomings of others, we are blinded to our own faults. We become like the servant who was forgiven a great debt yet failed to extend the same mercy to a lesser debtor (Matthew 18:21-35). Failing to see our sins impedes our ability to enjoy fellowship with Christ and to cooperate with His work of sanctification. Our blindness also precludes us from being able to help another believer along the path of righteousness. The blind cannot lead the blind.
Because the enemy has to lead His people to go against All Word So judge Not. We judge. Steal not we steal. Don't mess around then we do exactly the other. be holy n we r not. drink not we drink Do not we do. Get it. it all spiritual thing. that old wise guy has to do whatever it take to bring His people down to be judge by living God at the end. that's why bible is here. study it n be saved. it's all real.

We think that one persons sins are greater than the other, when in fact God sees all sin the same. Isaiah 59:1-2-sin separates us from God. Romans 3:23-25- All have sinned all fall short. Galatians 5:19-21-acts of sin James 4:17-knows the good...but doesn't do it, sins. BUT the verses that show is nobody is better han anyone else and all sin is weighed the same is Luke 7:36-48 read this again about the sinful woman. (the weight of our sins makes one feel worse but actually it is not)
It is not our place to judge. God is the judge of all, but God expects a certain standard of those that are his children. People try to say "oh, we are human so we are going to sin". We were born into sin, but Christ came to take away our sins. When we became children of God, we inherited His Divine Nature, so this talk of "we are only humans) is a lesser standard than what God has given us (2nd Peter 1:3-10) Please read! God has given us "ALL THINGS that pertain unto LIFE and godliness. meaning living right will only be too hard for us if we want it to.Once we've been cleansed God expects us to live according to his standards (The Bible is the standard to measure ourselves against). People want to use the excuse of "we are human" to live any way they want. But in the end, God is The Judge. And each of us will be without excuse. Happy reading!! :)
Well we shouldn't. At Romans 3:23 it says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." We shouldn't judge one another. Jesus actually said,"Stop judging that you may not be judged; for with what judgment you are judging, you will be judged." However, do to sin and imperfection we all err, so it's our responsibility to keep examining ourselves for so that we do not do this and continually pray for forgiveness.
As someone cited above, Matthew 7:1 tells us that we should not judge. And 1 Samuel 16:7 brings out an excellent point: "'Do not look at his appearance and at the height of his stature, for I have rejected him. For not the way man sees is the way God sees, because mere man sees what appears to the eyes; but as for Jehovah, he sees what the heart is.'" With these points in mind, we want to do our best to keep from judging others, because we do not know their heart condition. Only Jehovah God does. So only He can measure out that person's sins. Therefore, let us do our utmost to keep from judging others!
What do you mean? Okay, Jesus said to ''judge with fair judgement'' (John 7:24) and He said ''by their fruits, you will know them'' because if we didnt judge, well, no one would be in jail, or everyone would be in jail. You couldnt say someone is a liar because they lie all the time, you would have to trust thives because you cant say he is a thief because he steals, becayuse that s judging. You couldnt say anyone is dfangerous because they k_lled someone, because that s judging. But Jesus said to ''judge with fair judgement'' and ''by their fruits you will know them''. However, this is said for us to be careful, not to hate. Jesus sid to ''love our enemies''. Many people ''dont judge'' but if someone hurts them deep, they will hate that person. But if its a christian, we must love that person, of course, that doesnt mean we will let ourselves be hurt, but if that person needs help, you must give it. And you must want that person to come to Christ so they are not condemned, but have eternal life and joy. Gby
