Why do they change thru the spectrum the further south there seen

If referencing, light waves? (unsure) The density of the air is lighter, due to the water vapor available. The reflection/refraction of light waves would be altered due to the density or lack there of, the water in the atmosphere. Good question. One reason most shuttle launches took place in the South is less air density, less fuel needed to enter "outer" space. Higher payloads/supplies allowed per launch.

It must be the angle of the sun, the water droplets, and your eyes which changes the rainbow, I think you mean? Whatever else it is, I think that's the reason also.
