Italians pronounce it min a stron which is the correct pronunciation. Americans pronounce it min a stron e

In most of Italy, the word is actually treated with the silent "m" rule. In Italian, an M the appears before a "in" combo, is almost always dropped. So the word is actually pronounced "in -eh -stronnnne-ee".
