Your question is not quite clear how old are the car do you have? all cars when they first start up have condensation in there mufflers that will produce smoke if it is bellowing white smoke it could be oil if that is what's happening it needs to be taken to a mechanic.
white smoke is water based: Water or Coolant black smoke is fuel : Too much fuel vs air in the mixture. Water is getting into your cylinder(s) it seems. Head gasket is the usual suspect. If the problem is there all the time, best have it looked at. If it goes away when the car is warmed up, I would report this to a mechanic as well.
