drink a lot of water before bed. A LOT. you will wake up with a sense of urgency that you never knew existed. hit the toilet, then eat a red apple. red apples contain more energy than a cup of coffee and they are way better for you. also, it helps if you get a full 8 hours of sleep on a comfortable bed without snoring. when you snore you cannot achieve REM cycles during sleep. REM is very important in terms of replenishing your energy.

Eat a fresh apple or two each morning with your breakfast. Has a similar effect as coffee. But great for you. Ad a banana out the door, great for your muscles with its potassium. And like others said, get lots of sleep!!
