is it serious when I've had a tick inside my eye for 2 days. what can I getting?

I sure hope you mean tic. A "tick" is a parasite and yes, go see a doctor if that is the case. A "tic" is a spasm. You are probably under stress. Learn some relaxation techniques.

Thank you. Imagine the panic that might have ensued for want of a "k."

Call your doc now! they could try to lay eggs, or even try to eat its way out. It doesnt want to be in there and will try anything to get out. Best you deal with it now.

If it's constant, then go see a doctor!

It could be from:
stress,
lack of sleep,
too much caffeine,
eye strain,
alcohol,
allergies,
nutritional imbalance,
dry eyes

Are you referring to a "twitch"? That could mean eye strain. You should see an optometrist.

Just thought I'd add that sometimes when it happens to me I look back at what I've been eating. Usually it is some hidden source of manufactured glutamic acid (MSG) which is a nerve stimulant that is worsened by eyestrain.

The medical profession is not keeping up with what is happening to our food. Quick fixes are sought more than looking for the cause that may be corrected by some simple elimination.

I have had this happen to me several times and it's aggravating as heck. Eye twitches or "tics" can last for several days or even weeks; however, if the spasms become chronic, you may have what's known as benign essential blepharospasm, the name for chronic and uncontrollable eyelid movement. This condition typically affects both eyes, and though the exact cause of the condition is unknown, the following may make spasms worse:

blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelid)
conjunctivitis (pinkeye)
dry eyes
environmental irritants, such as wind, bright lights, the sun, or air pollution
fatigue
light sensitivity
stress
wind (See more under COMMENTS)

Chronic, uncontrollable eyelid movement affecting both eyes is known as benign essential blepharospasm. Although its exact cause is unknown, the following conditions may precede or accompany benign essential blepharospasm:

Blepharitis
Dry eyes
Entropion
Light sensitivity
Pink eye (conjunctivitis)
Trichiasis
Uveitis

If it doesn't go away in another day or two, I believe I'd make an appointment with my eye doctor...or go ahead now and call him and see what he thinks. I think everything will be okay, but please get it checked if you need to.
