I was told my fiance had an affair going at the same time i proposed. I asked her and she flipped her lid about it! What does that mean!

Her overreaction to your question either means (in most cases) that she's guilty or that she's appalled that you would ask her such a thing. Either way, we don't know, we can't read her mind.

It means that she's pissed off, somebody dimed her out. Women are just like men, they cheat as much as men & they cover for each other the same way guys do. Congratulations, you've saved yourself a whole lot of grief in the future. Mount up & get back out there

Are you sure? Could be her feelings were slammed against a wall unexpectedly. I know someone that happened to. Turned out to be generated by the prior girlfriend.

If I'm told that someone has said something about me I don't freak out. I simply say let's go talk to X & find out why they're spreading lies about me & why. If their excuse is, because Y told me, well now I'm working on the #3 person passing the BS down the line. At that point it should be fairly easy to see that the BS flag is out & flying high. I wouldn't waste my time asking Z unless pushed into it. If she was still unsure by that point, I'd dump her for being just to dense to have any sort of future. By today's morals she's still free until the I dos have been coughed up

Fritz you appear to be a well put together emotionally stable person. Now think about half the people who post to this site. They are stuck in the teen state. I agree with what you say and how you solve the problem. Have even done it myself. Not everyone is mature enough to look into who and why lies are spread. They have not been taught to problem solve.

Take is as "yes, I cheated on you" and MOVE ON! Don't waste your life on someone who isn't worth it. There's so many other nice people out there. Btw you can tell if someone is lying by looking at their eyes when you talk to her. if you know her well, you will know if she is telling the truth.

There are two rules of thought here .. She is either innocent .. and is flabbergasted because nothing could be further from the truth .. OR .. she is as guilty as sin, and she really doesn't know how else to react.

Either way .. her reaction could very well be the same.

I know, how I would react if I was falsely accused of something like that...I would definitely go off the deep end! I am a person who values trust .. what is given to me .. and what I give to others.

If I thought, for one minute someone was maliciously trying to start 'sh!t' with MY relationship because of something they "thought" without substantiating it .. I would be out for blood! Families breakup over stuff like this .. stuff that could clearly be someone's idea of a joke .. or someone's misdiagnosis of activities. Rumours have broken up many families over stupidity and planting a seed of distrust. It's insidious and incredibly destructive.

Talk about it .. figure it all out. Investigate it .. do what you have to do to settle it in your own mind. Don't judge by what others have told you.

For all you know, they could have it ALL wrong.. and IT shouldn't dictate how YOUR life pans out.
