I agree with each of these answers. They are all so excellent things to do. Also, true happiness if found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Knowing that I am a child of God, a queen, makes me so happy each day. God has blessed you with an opportunity of life and He wants you to find the greatest happiness. Anything I struggle with I either pray to God, or sometimes even talk straight to Jesus, and I feel the strength right away. He can be your best friend and help you to find happiness. One of the greatest avenues to happiness is knowing truth from God. Log on to mormon.org. You may learn wonderful things about yourself you never knew before. And more than anything, the best thing you can do to find happiness is to meet with the missionaries from the LDS Church. You can hover over the tab that says "VISIT", and then click "Meet with Missionaries".
Talk to your doctor about depression, and antidepressants, also, add some positivity to your life like fun people you can get along with and talk to, and maybe do some fun things and exercise, like go on a peaceful walk through a park or beach, or try something new. Maybe consider talking to a counselor as well, as they are experienced in this area and they can help you better than anyone on here.
Trust me, if you can't make yourself happy, no one can. smile as you're reading this. Yup you reading this smile. There, yes, smile, now try showing your teeth. Keep on smiling, yes!!! Now laugh. hahaha <-- just like that!! :))) Tell me if it worked :)
Sounds like depression. If so, you can try this link to 2-1-1 Information and Referral Search which is a program funded by the United Way: http://www.211.org/ In some areas you can even call 2-1-1 on your phone and be put in touch with the necessary service. However, if you are on a medical plan, that would be the first place to start. Just call their number and speak to an operator. That person should be able to direct your call to the department best qualified to deal with your situation.
