Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee when speaking Thursday, said "I stand here as a freed slave." Who owned her and how much did she cost?
some pocket change
this is the question he originally had said. look at the previous i answered by bigred for my answer to this question. before he had edited and changed it....
That is what I believe is known in the vernacular as BULL.
She is incorrect in saying that. She could say a "descendent of slaves" or "descendent of a former slave".
Well ... maybe she was referring to the fact that all Americans are enslaved by the government ... EXCEPT for the slave-owners (aka: "civil servants")
Hmm, I'm thinking this is a rhetorical question......
I sure hope that it was a figure of speech.
Thinking it was metaphorical.....used to be controlled by others, by pressure and social expectations, and now she isnt.....otherwise, what shes trying to tell us is that she was around in 1865 and is in her late 140's.
She wants you to think she is a victim.
whoever it was should ask for their money back
Slavery was demolished In 1865 she is just a liberal moron
