YES ! our home was built in 1764. i thought my wife was crazy when she told me about David. i was home alone( I didn't know it) I hear Daad? Daad ? I'm yelling what ? what? thinking it was one of my boys. I'm home alone. She hears him. he also calls for Moom? Moom? True I swear.
Due to being "superstitious" I tend to believe that they are real, but are not as common as people think. (Practically all deceased people go on to "reincarnate") Very few remain in the "here and now". I tend to think of ghosts as the "odor" that remains after cooking something up--Even though everyone is done eating and the "dishes" have been cleaned up, there still remains a "smell" or what I belive are "vibrations". Spirits on the other hand are very "real" and are NOT deceased people haunting some mansion or other physical place. I liken "Spirits" to "forces", and come in various "strengths" and/or "sizes". Some of the people reading this may laugh or just shake their head in a pathetic manner, and I'm OK with that, but if they knew some of things I do, they may be surprised if they just open themselves to the possibilities. No, I can't prove anything, some things just have to be taken on "faith". No, I have never seen a ghost, but seeing and being in certain places they do become "real" with "sensitivity" and the right words to describe the sensation.
I believe I have an entity that follows me around. I don't always see him, maybe just once a day. I'm serious, it's real. Friends have witnessed my reaction when I notice him unexpectedly. He even saved my life on night, again my husband saw it happen.
If you mean dead people who come back to haunt others, than, no, they are not real. However, angels, demons, and the Holy Spirit are real, like it says in the Bible. You do not need to fear demons, though, as long as you have God on your side.
