What are some good classes to take in high school if I am planning to become an orthopedic surgeon?

Report as

The classes one needs to take to become an orthopedic surgeon are accredited orthopedic residency program and medical lessons. You might also be required to be creative. Orthopedic surgeon deals with conditions involving the musculoskeletal system.

In high school you will want to take electives that focus on the sciences, especially Anatomy and Physiology or Advanced Biology. It will also be important to have excellent writing skills and to be strong in math, too. If your high school has a science club or if you have the opportunity to do volunteer work at a hospital these would be valuable experiences and will look great on your college application. Good luck!
