Well, typically, one leads to the other. Laughing with someone can allow you to become friends, and if you are friends, then you'll most likely laugh together. :)

If you meet someone that laughs at the same things you do, you may have so very much in common; especially if you have a dry wit or see things that are funny that other people don't necessarily. I personally love a dry wit and some people just don't get it (i.e., my brother, sister and I can sit and we have quip after quip at each other & my mother just sits back & laughs, but she has no idea how we come up with things so fast. She could never do it.) My stepdaddy used to try to do it to her and she'd just say, "That's not funny," and walk away." He told Mom he really missed me when I left home & got married because he didn't have anybody to play jokes on & laugh with anymore. The two of you find yourselves laughing at something & everybody else look at you like you've got 3 heads wondering what's going on, & then you get even more tickled! Plus, if you're going through a hard time, usually the other one can get you tickled somehow in some way!
