Can anyone help me with some baby names?

I'm having 2 boys. I want the names to be Aspen Rye and Haven Quinn. But my father in law, who is a total guy thinks they are too feminine. My husband, who is also a total guy, doesn't want to pick a side. Do you think those names are too feminine? Thanks :)

I think you and your husband should pick names together. Each of you can make a list of so many... Then compare lists and decide.

I don't really like them, but then again that's just my opinion. How about you name one and your husband names one?

I can see why he would think they are kind of feminine... Sorry, I agree with your father in law.

I really love those names! I think their awesome, they aren't too feminine at all. Plus, it's not really their choice what their names are supposed to be. You're gonna be the one pushing them out! Lmao.

I agree with the men of your family. Those names are too feminine. In fact I know two women named Haven. Save them for your daughter and discuss masculine names with your husband. Congrats on the birth of your babies and Good Luck. Blessed Be.

Not feminine but def goofy: "Aaaaaaaspen, Aaaaaaaaaaspen Rye! You get in the house this minute and finish your soy milk!!!!!" "You too, Haven Quinn, or it's no green tea licorice for a week!!!"

Honey who cares what they think. YOUR the mama YOUR the one who carried two babies in your womb for NINE whole months. You deserve to pick out a name for your children.

When did feminism go from equal to solitary? From equal partner to sole determinant? There are no rights in this situation. There is partnership. And if there is no partnership because the woman carried the baby, or in this case babies, then should there be no obligations either?
Report as
Oh please that's CRA P. you carry a baby around for nine months and tell me what you think again.

Yeah, I would NOT want to be named Aspen or Haven. Give them normal names like Josh or Dustin or Jeff or Caleb, etc.

I love the name Aspen too! It's n my name list. I do have to say that Haven is more on the feminine side. What about Harvey, Harley, Harrison, Hudson, or Henry? All of those work with Quinn and are similar to Haven. Hope I helped, Congratulations!
