lots of fluids (water, Gatorade, tea, ginger ale etc) plenty of rest, emergenC really helps (extra boost of vitamin C) also zinc, whether caplets or lozenges can cut your recovery time in half, especially when taken at the onset of symptoms. and chicken soup isn't just an old wives tale either. it actually has antiviral properties. oh! and about the tea putting lemon in it can help clear your sinuses and adding honey can help relieve a sore throat and ease your cough. there are also some great cold relief teas. a personal favorite of mine is Traditional Medicinals Cold Care P.M. hope this helps and you feel better soon.
