Can you become fluent in Spanish from just taking HS Spanish all 4 years?

Report as

I took 4 years of HS spanish under the tutelage of a teacher who exclusively taught the Castillian dialect as that is what she studied in college. Guess how much that experience helped me in trying to converse with the population of resident alien Hispanics here in the midwest? I might as well have been learning Portuguese!

Of course, you can be fluent in 2 years (althought mostly unlikely) if you take the time. But in 4 years, it's possible.

yes... but it will be "textbook ' Spanish... Regional dialects vary, but you will have a very positive start..

Yes, you can, but you need to practice also with a native speaker.

Maybe, if you pay attention and try your best studying and understanding it.
