If you are a wolf lover like you say, you won't EVER have a wolf for a pet......PLEASE!
Do you really want to risk being turned on?
A wolf belongs IN THE WILD!

Not always.. but there is a possibility. Why don't you just get a Husky?

You want a pet wolf? Wolves don't want to be your "pet". Get a dog.

Dogs are descendants of wolves
And a wolf for a pet is not only illegal
In most states, but not advisable
As a good pet.

It's a bad idea! As adults, wolves have been shown, most of the time, to be largely unpredictable, and will sometimes display aggressive behavior toward small animals and children. Pure wolves can never be fully trusted because, unlike dogs, they lack any alteration of their predatory behavior.

Wolves are wild animals....not pets. Here is a link to more info about wolves

Something you need to be aware of, the wolves you see in movies and TV shows are almost always a wolf-dog hybrid.

Yes. They will eventually go back to their wild instincts. Get a dog and be happy.

I have two dogs but I just don't understand how a wolf would turn on you if you raised it from birth. Sorry but I'm just like crazily obsessed with wolves i love them. There can be a pet wolf I have seen so many people who have pet wolves that are high content and they are selling them. Anyways I'm really happy with my two mutts, Maddie and Tasha. Btw Maddie is part Coyote and she is awesome.

there are no "pet" wolves. they're "wolves", and when they get mad enough, hungry enough, wolf enough; they will turn on you. get a bunny...;-)

Who knows. They are a wild animal and have a very deep genetic disposition that will always be there. I sure as heck would not want kids around them like a family dog. You can take animals out of the wild but not the wild out of animals. Remember that.

It could- dogs are the domestic version of wolves, and even then they retain their natural instincts, and may attack their caregiver for even no apparent reason

Their care giver ain't dominate over them then if they attack their owners.

yeah, I agree. but something very unpredictable may happen, even being the dominating leader; something could spook/ scare them, pain, or simply leaning over near a dog while standing taller than it (considered intimidating/threat to a dog) may have it feel the need to "defend" itself

Yes there's a possibility. I had a friend who died by being mauled by her 2 pet wolf's ( moonlight & feather ) I assure you, you don't wanna take that kind of risk.

No Wolf!!! . There are people out there that are breeding wolves with German Shepard's that you can buy. I know someone that has one. I have raised Shepard's so I'm not afraid of big dogs, and while it is a beautiful dog it is very spooky to be around. Too much wild still in it!
If you are not highly experienced with handling very aggressive large dogs, don't even consider a wolf, it may be the last thing you do.
