I'm a sophomore and I want to take visits I'm offered. When is the soonest I can visit?

You can go any time but things may change a little in a few years. I would wait until between February and May of my senior year. That way you can talk to them about scholarships too. They will probably only give you a conditional offer your sophomore year.
