In your opinion which pointe shoe will last longer/ is better, Bloch or Russian pointes?

I wouldn't say that, Russians are harder, therefore they wear slower than really soft Gaynors or medium Blochs.

Yeah. But I guess she can alternate between several shoes. I go between Grishkos and Gaynors and sometimes Russians. But I don't know why she'd be going back and forth between these two shoes... Blochs really don't fit like Russians. Russians are more suited for thin feet and Blochs are a little wider.

Depends on how much you use them. I dance 8+ hours a day and wear Grishkos, so I'd go with Russians. They tend to be harder, from my own experience. They aren't nicknamed the "pointe shoes from Hell" for nothing!

I dance 10 hrs a day and I wear Russians every other day and the other days I wear Bloch shoes and they are ruined already but my Russians are still good as new. So Russians last longer.
