My 2011 Camry seems to be using up gas real fast

I'm not sure but it feels like the gas is being used up real fast. I put in 20$ the other day , about 5.7 gallons , drove about 70-80 miles on the highway. if the Camry gives about 25 mpg, why is it disappearing so fast ?

Incorrect tire pressure can mess up your mileage, fouled spark plugs can be the cause as well. Also, are you sure your gas has not been siphoned?

How do you know? I suggest you keep close tabs on your mileage after the next 3-5 fill ups. Then you'll know what's going on. Guessing at something doesn't work.

Run a can of fuel cleaner through your next tank.

Check your tire pressure. Are you carrying extra weight in the trunk etc? Maybe time for a tune up

The 25 mpg they advertise is done in a lab on rollers with no hills, or wind resistance. You can expect 20 to 22 mpg in reality.
But you are getting 12-14 mpg. Get a mechanic on it.

Check your oxygen sensor. It's called an o2 sensor in mechanic lingo. If its not working properly, your car doesn't know how much gas to mix with oxygen and will use more gas by "running rich"-- that's more mechanic lingo.
