You'd best stay put. If you get caught before turning 18 you WILL regret it. If you have taken off, go back NOW! Kansas Judge's are nortorious for making examples of teenagers. Jail is no place for teenagers, they usually come out worse than when they went in. Straighten up and turn your life around. If life at home is unbearable see if you can stay with another family member or a friend.
Please don't run, because you will only go to jail tired! Violate probation you go back to jail. You might even grab another charge for running! Did you know that Juvie jail can hold you until your 23! If your 18 when you run you can even be put in the adult jail. Just finish your probation, pull your head out of your but and get your stuff together!
At 17 the chances of getting caught are high. It's not worth it. Because the judge can make you serve time at that point. How do you explain the gap in time when applying for jobs or school? Do it now because if charged as a youthful offender you can either apply for record expungement or sealing of records. Can't do that as an adult. Go talk to someone face to face. Don't make a horrible situation horrendous.
