My child has a temperature, what can I do to lower it?

Report as

Try giving them motrin, cool wash cloth on the head and don't bundle them up. If the fever doesn't break, you should get in touch with the doctor. Good luck.

Cool cloth on the forehead. Dress just in undies or diaper. Children's Tylenol or something like that.

Infants Tylenol, cool towels on forehead and you can give them a bath. It's all worked for my kid before.

bathe in cooler than lukewarm water, or cool compresses. When fevers are high, ive been told to alternate ibuprofen (motrin, advil) & acetaminophen (tylenol) seperate the two meds by 3 hours. Remember fevers are fighting the virus. I would always call the doctor, thats what they are there for.

Besides ibuprofen ,
( and this may sound strange )
Slice some raw onions and put them
In your child's socks - on the bottom of the foot )
My mom used to do this when I was a small child - and just a few weeks ago
I had a fever of 101 and I did this
Before I went to bed- woke up and felt
100% better!
Good luck

O
It's true
Not sure how or why it works
But the onion pulls the fever out of the body .
Next time you get a fever , try it
See for yourself .
