How can I lose weight

I'm 13 an on the chunky side, it runs in our family, but I want to lose my fat, I can't stand being chunky anymore

It all starts with what you eat. You HAVE to put healthier stuff in your body. Being chunky runs in the family because you are all eating garbage. You need to eat healthy organic foods and get use to doing exercises.... Like walking and running. If you can turn your entire family around, you will have better success. Good luck.

Do sit ups , push ups lift weights and walk or jog just start slowly and don't give up

you have to see exactly what are you eating, being conscious of that. maybe you have to check with an endocrinologist if you have any thyroid condition, hypothyroidism can cause a person get fat easily without eating too much. Its a simple blood test to check levels of TSH, T3 and T4 hormones.

Walk a little bit everyday,and see how much further you feel like going the next day.You'll be surprised that you enjoy it,and are shedding pounds at the same time.

Eat less, exercise more. Do both. Eating less slows your metabolism down because when you burn more calories than you take in (which you must do to lose weight) your body chemistry reacts as if you are starving. Exercise speeds it back up (your body chemistry -- primitive chemical arrangement that it is -- reacts as if you are either chasing food or trying to avoid becoming food). All these "easy, fast" diets are a waste of time; I have tried so many of them to no avail. Slow and steady is the best way. And better to start when you are only "chunky" rather than wait for more pounds to accumulate.

Try to find an exercise that you actually enjoy. I used to do dancing (nowhere near professional, just active) until I broke an ankle (not dancing) and it didn't heal right. Exercises that you like are play; exercises that you dislike are work.

Well everyone's body is different in every way but I'm 12 and on the chunky side and I do sports a lot and it doesn't help me, but like I said everyone's body is different so do sports, eat healthier, eat smaller meals slowly because if u eat fast your body can't tell u if it is full so just eat less and some people eat when they r bored. I do that sometimes, but I try to avoid it and go ride my bike or something like that, also get less computer and T.V. time, I hope this helps! :) bye..

It is always good to get out in the sun. You get a lot of vitamin D. and if it happens to be chilly outside get yourself to work out in your basement and try to not eat so much junk food get yourself to eating more fruits and veggies ! Exercise is always a great way to stay activit and to keep yourself occupied.
