In CO if a bar is hit with a liquor compliance check (a sting) and passes are the authorities required to inform the bar of the sting?

Either the owners or bartenders? Verbally or in writing?

Not if they pass, but they usually notify you as an incentive to keep up the good work! Keep in mind sometimes stings take a while to process, they usually notify the violators first, then move on to the compliant establishments.

For anyone else who might be interested I asked one of the cops who comes in for lunch at my place from time to time. He suggested I call the local city clerk's office. I did, and they were able to tell me that we passed (after they had a good laugh at a silly bartender for her curiosity!). That was all the info they were able to give me in the interest of the privacy of the people involved in the "liquor law compliance checks" And I'm sure... so they could continue to use the same people for other stings in the near future.
