What it means is that if you eat healthy foods like salads and do a bit of exercise, you will get abs. On the other hand, if you eat unhealthy food and don't exercise you won't get abs. I personally have abs because I eat very healthy every day and I do some gym routines at home everyday. It just takes time.
Some body builders limit starch & fats to get definition (or cut they say). I knew a body builder who ate only egg whites for lunch. What did he do with all the yolks? Good abs really are sexy (to me) but the mental qualities can´t be ignored. A sweetie is a sweetie.
Everyone has abs. They just tend to get hidden by a layer of subcutaneous fat. If you cut down on snacking especially at night, and eat healthy and exercise you can lose the fat and your abs will show better.
