It's a story, like many others which try to explain why people are here. So I'm saying that the odds are it is not true, any more than the other stories are true, since we know where humans came from and we also know that people make up stories.
Actually, Science shows that "Ötzi the Iceman" is actually one of the first Human beings, as his DNA can be traced back to have existed for over 5,300 years, where as Adam and Eve as mentioned in the bible are only to have reached earth 5,000 years ago, in the year 3,000 b.c.e.
I think so. I think evolution exists but it is Gods choice to evolve something. Perhaps Adam and Eve were the first 'people' as we are today he evolved. I don't think it would be possible if they were the only two people at the time.
According to the bible Adam and Eve were the first people. But there is no way to truly prove that. All you can do is have faith. We will all find out one day. I'd rather have faith than have no faith.
((((Replenish)))) ======And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. (Genesis 1:28 KJV)
Adam is called the "first man" (1 Corinthians 15:45). This is inconsistent with the idea that God created men before Adam. Genesis 2:5-8, however, says quite plainly that before God created "the man whom He had formed," the very same man which He placed in the garden, there were no men upon the earth to cultivate the ground. God created Eve for Adam because he was alone, there was no one else like him around ("It is not good for the man to be alone.. but for Adam there was not found a helper suitable for him" Genesis 2:18, 20). Adam named his wife "Eve" "because she was the mother of all the living" (Genesis 3:20).
No, that's a bible story and its false. Don't believe hokey sounding religious nonsense. We came about from a naturally occurring biochemical process called evolution. The science is fascinating and explains our origins scientifically.
Yes they were the first ones here the bible says so. The reason there are different races could be because of a mutation it happens or simply because God let it be that way. Or you can believe the scientific way of how environments changed the skin colors and eyes and hair
Adam and Eve were the FIRST human pair according to the Bible. However, the heaven and earth were created first. (Genesis 1:1) God created Adam and Eve perfect and purposed that all humankind descend from them. (Genesis 1:28; 3:20) Adam was the first human creature. The Hebrew term ’a·dham? is also properly translated “man,” “earthling man,” and “mankind.” Eve, the first woman, was Adam’s wife. We can believe that all of us descended from the same original parents (Acts 17:26)
“Science now corroborates human beings of all races are . . . descended from the same first man.”—Heredity in Humans (Philadelphia and New York, 1972), Amram Scheinfeld, p. 238. “The Bible story of Adam and Eve, father and mother of the whole human race, told centuries ago the same truth that science has shown today: that all the people of the earth are a single family and have a common origin.”—The Races of Mankind (New York, 1978), Ruth Benedict and Gene Weltfish, p. 3.

First, let us review the key elements in the account of the creation of the first man. Regarding Adam, the Bible says: "Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul." (Genesis 2:7) Is this statement scientifically credible? The book Nanomedicine states that the human body is made up of 41 chemical elements. These basic elements, carbon, iron, oxygen, and others, are all present in the "dust" of the earth. What of the description in Genesis that Eve was fashioned from Adam's rib? (Genesis 2:21-23) Before dismissing the account as myth or fantasy, consider the following facts: In January 2008, scientists in California, U.S.A., produced the world?s first mature cloned human embryos from adult skin cells. In fact, using similar techniques, scientists have cloned at least 20 animals. The most famous of these, Dolly the sheep, was cloned in 1996 from the mammary gland of an adult sheep.
