People don't believe me but, put some music on low volume, and just think about what you want to dream about; you'll be knocked out in 10 minutes, I do it every time.

Try tea... But personally, I don't think that it will work.
Mellotonine.
If your having trouble sleeping talk to your doctor. A little home trick my mother did was give me and my sisters a little glass of baby warm milk. That was when we were children, so I dont exzactly no if it worked but hey its worth a try?
If you stand on your head for 10 seconds, all the blood will rush to your head and make you sleepy. It worked for me! Hope it helps!
Get up and do something. It works best if it is not in your room but that isn't always possible for people. Read a book, do a puzzle, write down stuff, draw, paint, pet your dog or cat, etc. Don't run around or watch tv, that will wake you up more. Then after how ever long, try to fall back asleep.
try milk or listen to soothing music
It's after 7:40pm in NY State right now. Do you live somewhere that is a few hours ahead of that State?
I usually take a warm bath or shower, then i drink a warm drink, turn on the radio, turn off the light and turn on the fan and i usually fall asleep in a matter of minutes.
Cup of warm milk or Ny Quill which ever helps best.
Have your room as dark and quiet as possible. Wear a sleep mask (or just cover your eyes with a folded cloth). If there is noise from the next room or the street, run a small fan (not necessarily blowing on you, but a slight breeze is soothing if not cold) so that the hum of the fan (called "white noise") will blur over other sounds. No caffeine, exercise, or tension (if possible to avoid) after 7:00 pm.
Turn a small fan on have it blowing towards you but not on you close your eyes listen to music on low volume and lay still with your eyes closed for 20 minutes it helps to make your body slow down and your heart rate to lower
Sleeping pills. Works Every Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Try drinking a cold glass of milk before bed, or listen to classical music on a low volume.
its usually about resetting your body clock.
* Go to bed at the same time each night. Have at least 7hrs sleep & wake up same time each morn.
* Don't drink caffeinated drinks after sundown. Try to eat no later than 7pm.
* Exercise in the morn, not near bedtime.
* Hot shower before bed.
Should work.
