My boyfriend wants an Xbox 360 and the ps3. I don't know which is better in price and games.

my boyfriend is an overall great person and he never ask for anything but when he does it's usually because he's been holding back on getting it or he scared to ask. I just want to know which is better?.

You should get him the Xbox 360, I know guys like that way better unless he wants to play Lego Lord of the rings :) I'm a girl and don't know much on this but I'm pretty sure on this ;)

get the Xbox 360 more games better live experience better game play, iv had both and the Xbox was way better by far ps3 was boring to me

I like the Xbox360 better than the PS3, but the PS3 does have a Blu-ray player, if you don't yet have one.

As a boy Xbox 3 connect it have motion sense and voice active. fun for all

Huh, sounds like me. Anyway, Halo is a popular game, but only for Xbox, but PS3 also has some really great exclusive games and downloadable content. Xbox is better with software and internet connection(considering they are run by Microsoft), but PS3 costs less in terms of accessories--such as controllers, mics, etc(considering they're run by Sony). You also hear about Xbox-s needing replacement parts more than a PS3 does, but PS3 has been hacked more in the past. Hope I helped.

If you want better price, get a Xbox 360 but you have to pay to play online. if you want better games, get a PS3. it costs a bit more but you do get to play online for free. My personal suggestion is to get a PS3 because it has better games, plus you can find a good deal on it.

ps3 I bought xbox and I wish I got a ps3 because you can play online for free and personally I like the games that are out that are just for ps3 there are good ones for xbox but I prefer the ones for ps3 (Heavy Rain, Infamous, God of War) But in all honesty for video games I would get an awesome desktop with a big graphics card (assuming he doesn't have one) since many games for xbox and ps3 are for pc plus there are a ton of games available for pc that aren't for consoles from simple flash games (Binding of Isaac) to fun horror survival (Amnesia, Punumbra) , the cyberpower is the best when it comes to pcs but that's just my opinion. Between xbox and ps3 tho I'd go for a ps3. Trust me I know my shit.

P.S THE XBOX KINECT SUCKS I bought it and returned it a week later, it doesn't pick up movement that well.

Your Kinect probably was faulty, either that or you connected it incorrectly. i personally have an Xbox Kinect, and it is absolutely wonderful. there is little to no lag at all while im using it. however, you do have to be in the correct "Area", moving 5 feet away from the recommended area does have severe effects on gameplay. however, the Ps3's movement device is overall crap.

I agree on the ps3 movement device it also looks ridiculous (with the weird ball on the top) it depends what games you play also for kinect Child of Eden works okay Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt 2 was dreadful, there aren't many games I like for Kinect so i don't see much point. The just dance games look awful, Kinect wasn't for me.

Xbox 360, Ive had one for 3 years and I love it Never gets old! Especially with the kinect sensor that you can buy PS.:(If your boyfriend enjoys playing sport games and olympic games buy him one its like a 'wii' feature but funner)

The Xbox 360 is a better rated Video game console, especially since it has the additional advantage of the Xbox kinect, which has been chosen as "The Best Human Movement Gameplay Device that Currently Exists". the Xbox also supports more games, and contains Xbox live, which the Ps3 sadly lacks. Overall, the Xbox is a clear winner.

My kids have both & they prefer the 360, I like the PS3 better and my wife would like to see them both in the dumpster. Excluding my brides hatred of all things "video gaming" my boys played a lot of X box & I played the PS2, PS1, back to pong when it came out. The 360 appears to have a better choice of games & as sammy30 stated the live play is better. I think the PS3 loads faster & has better graphics. It's really close, just ask him which he'd prefer-it'll save you time
