Ate burritos authentic Mexican food ?
I heard that they are not.

Hm. The beginning of your question confused me. But yes, Burritos are traditional Mexican food. I might be slightly off with my location, but they were made in Ciudád Juarez originally. But it also depends how they are made. The way some of them are made now is more Tex-Mex and not the traditional way they are prepared.

How would your grandmother or mother make them?:-)

She (Grandmother) used to only put Beans and some form of meat in them. Usually beef.

Yeah, thats the kind I had in Mexico and really liked! Yum! None of this Cheesy weird saucy stuff right? Every time we go to Texas cant wait to find our favourite foodtruck ( she moves around a lot.. :-)...) and get close to a small taste of Real Mexico. :-).
Did you learn any of her home-style recipies?
