Why wont the brake lights on my jeep work

On most vehicles, there is a brake light switch under the brake pedal, and sometimes that will stop working. It's probably either that or the bulbs.

cause obviously they are broken, and need to be fixed.

well you can also just take your car to a garage so the mechanics can take a look at it.

Jeep what? Possibly a bulb or a short,have you looked into it?

It's a grand jeep Cherokee 2000 and yes the bulbs are good

could be a fuse or a short.All Jeeps have a rep for leaks and wire shorts.

Bulbs are burned out.see a mechanic before someone nails you from behind or you get a ticket.

Or a fuse or open curcit do your running lights work
