Does anyone know how to make an antique PHILCO 42-400 console radio pick up modern FM frequencies?
The console is in (my opinion) fantastic condition. The only problems I can see is that one side of what looks like the antenna wire is not connected and the outer covering of the power cable is brittle and crumbling off. I would like to get this console to work like new so it would be a nicely working antiquity I can enjoy until my own children call me an antique haha. I assume there must be a restoration as far as components go, but I figure getting some knowledge wouldn't hurt.
