Spicy foods are good for you, in general. The spices contain lots of good things that other foods don't have very much of, and are good for your circulation (veins etc.).
If they aren't TOO hot for your stomach lining to handle, should be fine. The only bad effects I think could happen are stomach ulcers- which are short-term things usually, and after one, you just learn to tone it down a little. If you aren't having any bad side-effects from eating them, I really think you should be fine, and can keep going. Spices are good :)
