I think I'm becoming depressed to the point where I don't feel anything anymore except a weight on my chest. Any suggestions?

I lost my appetite for food, and it's really just a hassle to go 5 minutes away to get food. I'm in college by the way. And I'm pretty sure I have social anxiety. I turn to drugs, but they really don't work. I only feel good now if I do Molly, but I also try other things too. Thanks.

My moms making me go to a psychiatrist downtown. Im kind of skeptical of the whole thing, but Ill at least go.

Good idea. Or, you could get a bunch of Dragon Ball Z games. They worked wonders for me.

Try doing the things that you used to enjoy, if they no longer make you happy try finding new things to do or try finding a new purpose (something to distract your mind and make you feel useful). If that wont work, go and get help

Talk to your family or one of your closest friends about what's bothering you. Don't turn to drugs or alcohol. Those things won't help for anything. I once saw this quote that went like this: "having a rough morning, put your hand over your heart. Feel that? It's called purpose. You're alive for a reason. Don't give up." I really hope you'll feel better! :)

I have the same thing. I might suggest getting a counciler or phsyciatrist. Medication might help, but there are also groups you can go to. You can have to eat, though. So even when you don't feel like it, just scarf down a piece of pizza :D

I know pizza is like everyday and I just get bored of the taste. Also pennsylvania doesn't know how to make good pizza like New York:)

The best thing to do is to seek medical assistance from a doctor or a therapist. You will be able to get assistance concerning your condition.

I also get down sometimes and I find that I too turned to lots of " bad " ways to deal with my emptiness,at the ripe old age of 42 the only real FIX I have found to do any good is exercise,personally I like to go on a walk in nature,it restores and refreshes my perspective on things a lot more than those other options.

I gave up on working out. I just don't have the motivation anymore. It's hard enough getting out of bed in the morning ya know
