Would you sell your sanity for everything you've ever wanted?

Personally, I find think life would be better from an insane point of view.

You could be right. But no, I wouldn't. If I was insane, I'd hardly want the same things I do now, would I?

The only truly sane people are the ones that have a letter from a real head-doctor stating they are sane....all the rest of us are suspect.

If I gain everything I ever wanted (assuming that doesn't include a retained sanity...which it actually would btw) and then loose my sanity, I will have in effect lost everything that I supposedly gained. In a state of insanity I will likely have no appreciation of that which I gained and therefore I would have not only lost my sanity but also really gained nothing! Rather, consider this quote: "a man is no fool who will give up that which he cannot keep for that which he cannot loose" Jim Elliot.

I'd give up my sanity to live in a world that I created inside my head.

No, that's selfish and too much so for I. I would not be able to enjoy the spoils of the bargain were I insane I think.

Yup, that's my point. No real gain gotten. Apparently the truth isn't always obvious to everyone. Lol
Report as
Oh it's obvious, it's just that lies and delusions are not so obvious.
Report as
Now that I agree with. It's basically saying that truth isn't obvious from the reverse direction. As in the truth is obscured by such dense falsity! Lol
Take care
