At a catholic school religion is mandatory in grade 9. Is it mandatory through all grades or when can you stop taking it?

That was a volunteer basis when when I went to school,I never did it.You do know alter boys have parts in their hair right?

It would be logical to expect religion to be taught in Catholic school. Based on what I've learned of their curriculum, you can stop upon graduation, or transfer to public school.

The point of religion based schools is the teaching of religious perspective that isnt allowed in public school. So religion will be a huge part of the curriculum all the way through. Many religious schools have mandatory chapel and bible classes as well.

In the catholic highschool I go to you need religion 10, 20, 30 to graduate.
