Girls wore short sleeved sweaters with full skirts, bobbie sox (white cotton sox) and side saddles (oxford shoes white with brown on each side of the middle) Also, a scarf about the size of a bandana ties around the neck. Pop-beads (plastic pearls) and tennis bracelets (called charm bracelets in those days)Boys wore jeans (dungarees they were called then) and a long sleeved sport shirt or a white t shirt with a pkg. of Marlboro's rolled into the sleeve at the bicept.

Same as today. Except men wore hats more. You never left the house without a hat.

Business men wore suits, Working class wore informs. Most men wore suits to church or other social function. They wore hats like fedoras when outside. Casual wear was pleated chino pants and button down shirts with loafers.
