How do i get the last few inches of my left leg forward splits?

i am so close. when i go down and try to do them it only feels Rong under my knee i need to get this down i know i flexible enough i just need the last inches it would be appreciated if you helped.

Hi @blueeyedblondey13 ! In order to get your splits all the way down, I would suggest propping your leg on the couch and sliding down (this is called over stretching) it will let your legs get the feel of an over split. After you have had plenty of practice with this, try your regular split! good luck:-)

Just keep on doing it until it eventually happens. Don't push yourself though, just let it happen gradually- you don't want to injure yourself.
Make sure you are verrrry well warmed up- and shake your legs around and stuff to warm up your joints aswell. be very very warm but- like practise the splits after a good workout or something. I stretch for an hour after my workouts, because its most effctive when your muscles and joints are nice and warmed up. Better bang for your buck, when your warmed up thoroughly.

I think i can help you. I am a gymnast so I know how to get splits down(: ahah. Keep stretching every day, don't slack off. Do at least 2 minutes twice a day. every 30 seconds do a big push, it will stretch a lot but you have to push through it. You can also try put ur leg up onto a height and try to get as low as possible.

What I did was put my front leg on a ball roll it into front splits stay for quit a while. then I did it on the floor and it worked :)
