Relax, nothing is going to happen to you. You will just be cranky. You need to get yourself back on a schedule. Go to bed at 9 tonight and wake up at 6 tomorrow.

If you have anxiety that is preventing you from sleeping, you should really see a doctor. In the meantime...when you go to bed, make sure your room is dark and quiet. Lay down on concentrate on your breathing, big deep breaths in and out. Stay completely focused on your breathing. It should help. Good luck.

No, no side affects. Try to stay up so you can get back on a regular sleep schedule.

You'll be tired until you get the amount of sleep your body needs. What do you expect would happen? And it's certainly not healthy, but it won't kill you to be sleep deprived for a couple days, if that's the only unhealthy thing happening in your life.

When you stay up for long periods of time, you create a sleep debt that must be repaid with interest. The body requires regular periods of sleep for repair and recycling. To interrupt this cycle is to risk both physical and mental damage. Get your rest!

You're going to be ok. Just don't drive long distances. I'm not sure how old you are. If you are under 18 talk to your parents. If you older then this you may want to talk to your family doctor. Some people will take Benadryl which is user for allergies. 1- pill is usually 25mg this will relay you enough to get a good sleep. But if you take other meds you may want to talk to your doc so that you don't mix medicine that should not be mixed.

Yes, if you are NOT using any other meds or do not have ANY other Medical conditions; Benadryl can be a reasonably safe occasional sleep aid. You may be a bit groggy the next day but not too bad.:-).

Sounds like your insomnia is Stress Related, and you've got quite a few good suggestions so far to try , will add try lying down in dark room with a good AudioBook playing; helps me relax by not focusing so much on the "I cant sleep" feeling, you are at least resting and hopefully listening to a good story.:-).

It might take a few days to get yourself back on schedule. Just realize that your sleep pattern is off and it's the reason for your crankiness and fumbling around.
