Is there a way to take away pain after getting charliehorsed quickly?

I got charliehorsed yesterday on my calf playing ultimate frisbee, would stretching help take away the soreness so I can play basketball later? Because currently I cant really run or jump on it.

Try stretching it out slowly every now and then during the day. Put some icy hot or other muscle calming medicine like an ice pack to help the swelling if there is any decrease. Or take a hot shower letting the hot water expand and calm the muscle. Hope I helped!

Could it be a shin splint or pulled muscle? A charliehorse is usually transient pain that passes in a few minutes. Your pain level suggests something more serious and stretching might make it worse.
I'd stay home and give your leg the day off.

i dont think its serious, it hurt a few seconds like charliehorses usually do but i kept playing on it for about an hour and a half, my adrenaline must have taken the soreness away while i was playing because i felt great running and jumping after those first seconds or so, but as soon as i got home and sat down i could feel soreness. I think it may just be a deep bruise even though i cant see any bruise on my calf from the outside

Ah, the heavenly feeling of an adrenaline high. Consider icing anyway, just to be on the safe side. Time will tell ! Good luck.
